[GCP] VM 개발환경 구축 (3) - VNC 접속 설정

아래 코드를 순서대로 입력하여 VNC Server를 사용하기 위한 패키지들을 설치하자. (오래 걸릴 수 있으니 기다리자.)

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install ubuntu-desktop gnome-panel gnome-settings-daemon metacity nautilus gnome-terminal gnome-core
sudo apt-get install tigervnc-standalone-server tigervnc-xorg-extension tigervnc-viewer

참고로 sudo apt-get install vnc4server를 입력했을 때는, Package 'vnc4server' has no installation candidate라는 오류가 발생하였다. 

 

 

설치가 완료되면,

vncpasswd

를 입력해 vnc 접속 비밀번호를 설정한다. 

 

다음은 아래 명령어들을 순서대로 입력한다. 

vncserver :1
vncserver -kill :1

최초 VNC 서버 실행시  ~/.vnc/xstartup 파일이 자동으로 생성되므로 VNC 서버를 실행시키고, VNC 설정을 위해 VNC 서버 종료하는 명령어이다.

 

nano ~/.vnc/xstartup

xstartup 파일을 수정해주기 위하여 위 명령어를 입력하고, 아래를 전부 복사하여 붙여넣는다.

vncconfig -iconic & 
x-terminal-emulator -geometry 80x24+10+10 -ls -title "$VNCDESKTOP Desktop" & 
x-window-manager & 
gnome-panel & 
gnome-settings-daemon & 
metacity & 
nautilus &

붙여넣을 때는 ctrl+v (혹은 cmd+v)를 누르면 된다.

저장하고 나갈 때는 ^X(ctrl+x)를 누르면 저장하겠냐는 메세지가 나오는데 그때 Y를 눌러 저장한다.

 

아래 명령어는 VNC 서버의 해상도를 1920x1080로 설정하는 명령어이다.

vncserver :1 -geometry 1920x1080
